Issues

When elected to city council, my goals include:

Building a Better Borderplex

Politics is the Art of the Possible, and we need to have everyone on board if we plan to think bigger about the future of El Paso. The sooner we can work as a region to boost our economy and grow our commercial tax base  the sooner we can lower taxes for homeowners. Peter will be a strong voice for business, both big and small.

Listen. Learn. Lead.

El Paso is going through changes and many of you feel left out of the process. City government, and more importantly city leaders, should always be inclusive and accountable. More than an open door policy, Peter will take the extra step to keep constituents in the loop when it comes to solving District 1 concerns. Peter will make sure you always have a voice in City Hall. Call Peter at 915-246-4778.

Responsible Growth

El Paso is unique, and we should capitalize on the uniqueness of our open spaces and historic places. Peter will advocate for the timely and responsible implementation for the 2012 Quality of Life Bond Projects as well as the efficient use of our taxpayer dollars. Taking a creative approach, Peter will build public/private partnerships to strike the right balance between preservation and growth.
